Q4 2023 Performance Review: Top Food Delivery Apps on iOS in Australia

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the Australian iOS market for food delivery services saw varied user engagement and download figures across several key applications. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into how these apps performed during this period.

DoorDash - Food Delivery experienced a decrease in downloads from approximately 18K in the last week of September to around 13K by the end of December. Weekly active users (WAUs) for DoorDash also showed fluctuations, peaking at 440K in early October before dropping to approximately 371K by the year's end.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery, another major player, began the quarter with over 15K downloads and ended with a slight dip to about 15K. The WAUs for Uber Eats started at nearly 685K, but there was a noticeable decline to around 617K in the last week of December.

Menulog - Food Delivery saw its downloads decrease from just over 9K to roughly 8K during the same period. Its WAUs also witnessed a decline, starting at 109K in late September and ending at just under 100K at the close of the quarter.

Finally, HungryPanda witnessed an initial increase in downloads from roughly 2K to over 3K in late October, followed by a decline to around 2K by year-end. WAUs peaked at approximately 9K in late October but dropped to just over 7K by the end of December.
